Cosmo Stars Soccer Club

Cosmo Stars Soccer Club (CSSC, aka Cosmo) is based in Ellicott City, Maryland. Cosmo was created with a clear mission of promoting the love and passion for the beautiful sport of soccer within each kid while focusing on having fun and the best time possible. Founded by a former professional player, we believe that soccer provides the mechanism to model and nurture the integrity, sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, humility, fair play, commitment, and respect within each player in a fun environment. These values are essential for kids growth and wellbeing.

The club started after multiple successes with private classes. Our players were selected to become players of travel teams in different clubs, as well as becoming players of their High School teams. Cosmo Stars finally became a club as an LLC in 2023. The Club is now dedicated to developing youth soccer players by providing instructional (recreational) and competitive soccer (travel team) opportunities to kids from ages 4-15. Our competitive teams play in EDP, EDP futures, and several tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally. The Club is also actively looking for international scrimmages and tournament participation.

At Cosmo Stars, player's development focuses on technical, tactical, mental and physical skills while prioritizing a safe, positive and fun environment. The programs are led by professional coaches with background on educational and youth development, and strong knowledge of soccer and passion for the sport.

Our training sessions are intentionally entertaining to engage and excite young players and foster an enjoyable and safe environment. Our players are always looking forward to attending each and every practice and games. Club's staff members are ready to answer questions and provide personal evaluations to parents and players, and give them the tools to continue developing their skills in and out of the practice sessions. 

Parents are also key elements of the players and our Club's success. The club promotes positive parental support though education on the sport and its rules, proper sideline etiquette, and best practices to aid in the kids growth. It maintains an enjoyable and fun environment for positive impact in player's development.
