Colombian Style Soccer with a flavor of Full South American and European soccer is the foundation of our training system, which covers all technical, tactical, and functional aspects of soccer. Our summer programs are designed to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are age-appropriate, challenging, and fun. We will focus on improving ball mastery, passing, shooting and finishing technique, speed and agility, intelligence, creativity, and field awareness.
Our summer program is designed for both recreational and advanced players/travel teams with the purposes of taking a player’s game to the next level. Advanced training will be provided to players who want to train during the summer months to focus on the individual and team techniques and skills to prepare for the upcoming season.
Players signing up for advanced training should be at the travel or higher level of recreational soccer within their club, and should not be intended for beginners; unless agreed to with the coach and/or club director.
On-field feedback and instruction helps players understand their potential and skill level to apply within their teams.
The summer program offers weekly skill clinics with 1-day practice and 2-day practices. It will adhere to similar schedule as regular Fall and Spring seasons. Further details can be found under Practice Schedule.
Each practice is one hour long. All practice details will be determined by the coach of that team based on his/her availability as well as on the fields that are available and convenient to him/her.
Any schedule changes will be discussed and agreed to with parents.
Short duration and small sided games are played at the end of the training to practice the class lessons. The coach divides the players into even teams to the extent possible. Weekend games for the travel/advanced players are held at the discretion of the coach based on fields and coach's availability. Games may be scheduled against other clubs. All players in recreation programs will play at least 50% of the game per the U.S. Soccer guidelines. Coaches will manage substitutions accordingly to ensure minimum playing time for each player is met. However, in travel teams, 50% playing time is not guaranteed.
Summer'23 season will be divided into 3 4-week training sessions:
Schedule and length will depend on coach and field's availability.
**Players are welcome to join our team any time during the season.
The cost for the summer program can be found under Club Fees and at the time of registration. Uniforms/jerseys can be purchased in our online store (coming soon!!!).
Each player is expected to bring their appropriate ball size, water bottle with their name printed on a label or a drink of their preference, shin guards and soccer cleats.
Spectators/parents may sit the side of the field or the bleachers during the games and practices.
Spectators/parents may not stand or sit behind the goals or on the end lines, or in the field areas assigned for coaches and players.
Any criticism of players, coaches, or referees is prohibited.
Please refrain from coaching from the sidelines as kids will be distracted during games and/or practices. Positive cheering is encouraged. Examples of positive cheering are “Good job!” or "Good Safe" or "Amazing Goal". “Stay back on defense!” "Attack" are examples of coaching from the sidelines.
No pets allowed. If a person brings a pet to the field, it should be taken back home or stay at least 50 yards away from the field for the safety of the players or other people at the field.
